Thermoserv is a dinnerware and drinkware company based in Dallas, Texas. They manufacture their own products which include but are not limited to: plates, bowls, ramekins, platters, insulated drinkware, coffee tumblers, licensed collegiate drinkware, and many more.
During my time at Thermoserv, my responsibilities were primarily executed through Photoshop, however I did use Indesign and Illustrator for other assignments such as newsletters and production-ready files.
One of the many ongoing objectives was to create virtuals for each product being featured for the upcoming season of new products and colors.
Initially, One photo is taken of a white product or a white product set, then we used photoshop to output numerous colors of that product into a product image library on the server. Each file had a specific title, detailing the color, item number, angle perspective, and size. Products range between having 6 to 15 colors per item. There were 100s of items, and my time at Thermoserv was never wasted. This experience made me better at photoshop in way I didn’t know existed.
